I am 5’10” and it is already about 1.5” off the ground. So, with heels on, the dress just won’t do. I’m pretty bummed, though, because the dress is GORGEOUS! It is a Casablanca-inspired dress that would look stunning on any bride! The detailed bodice and flounce accents on the skirt of the dress will certainly make you stand out! This dress is certainly unique! The size is a size 8, fitting: Bust: 36” Waist: 27” Hips: 38” I, however, think that this dress is slightly bigger than the measurements it lists. I am close to the aforementioned measurements, yet I know that I could take it in at all areas to make it fit the way I would want it. The shoulder strap has a simple attachment in back so that you can either take it up or let it down a bit—depending on your torso length—but they will have to be addressed, even if there are no other alterations done to it (e.g. cutting off the excess, etc…). As I mentioned before, I am quite tall, so I would suggest this dress for a gal 5’8” or shorter. There is plenty of lining to work with if you’re on the shorter side. :) The closure for this dress is a quick and simple zipper—no need for a crochet needle on your wedding day! (I was recently at a wedding where they had to crochet the bride into her dress. It took an extra 15-20 minutes just to hook all 30 buttons! :) All I’m asking for this dress is $225.
