I had to get the neckline taken in a little bit because it was too low, but besides that, that was the only alteration. The dress is a size 8, but it fit snug on me because my midsection was big, but I wore Spanx which made the dress zip up easier.
I am also 5'8 so the dress was the perfect length for me, but anyone shorter than that would need to hem it. If you are taller than 5'8 and plan on wearing heels, the dress length will look very awkward on you (I first tried the dress on with heels which made me 6'0, and you could see my shoes). But the one thing I recommend if you were to wear flats is to hem it a little because you might end up stepping on it or someone might step on it.
I got alot of complements on this dress which was a plus and if your worried about anyone else wearing it (which, believe me, I was) it's not sold in many formal wear stores.
My asking price varies between $200 to $250 because like I said, it was near $400, but you would get awesome quality for such a well-known designer's dress. I'll even throw in the original garmet bag so you can keep it revealed until the big day.
